Wistful Wednesday

Ever come across that one photo that perfectly captures your family? Thanks to my sister who recently unearthed a trove of family memorabilia, we've found ours!

LOL! I have photos just like that. Ah, the good old days of cheap cameras...

1975 about? That's a great shot.

What a wonderful photograph. I have some of that era too, I'm guessing 68-69?

Shelly, I'm like you. Bring back instamatic cameras, they took fantastically grainy and washed out photos. Really, I prefer that look to slick digital polish.

Mr Woolcott, I'd say that's about right. A year later and we would have been wearing flags.

Lidian, this was definitely taken in the seventies, but like every decade, it resembled the last one almost until it was over. But with more brown.

I've got a ton of those photos, too, but since I am an old geezer, mine go back to the sixties. Great pictures! I'm going to have drag some of mine out of the old photo albums now.

I'm not sure what is worse--Your mom's pant suit or your sister's dark socks with her light colored outfit. Sweet!

David, there are hidden rewards in looking back at these old photos!

Angel, it's amazing how a picture can just get you right *here* when you haven't seen it in many years. Every time I look at this, it reminds me how much I love my family.

Lin, the prize has to go to my sis. She is rocking her personal style with arms akimbo that just screams out "future top model"!
